For the important production technology of grinding, we also have our own department with department with CNC grinding machines.
External cylindrical grinding of components up to Ø1000 mm and 6 m in length, with unit weights of up to 8 tons is possible. One machine with B-axis and two grinding wheels enables us to grind different grinding operations or components coated with different materials in one clamping.
With the possibilities of in-process measurement, we can achieve maximum accuracy.
Several grinding spindles for a wide range of diameters and lengths are available for internal cylindrical grinding on a universal internal/external cylindrical grinding machine.
The programmable B-axis can also be used to grind conical and spherical contours. Surface grinding up to dimensions of 3000×800 mm and centering grinding round off the processing possibilities of our grinding department.
