The quality assurance department ensures that the previously processed components meet the requirements of the customer’s technical drawings. Depending on the measuring task, a wide range of measuring and testing equipment is available, including 3D coordinate measuring machines, which can be used to record the actual dimensions, shapes and positions in detail. The QA personnel are responsible for developing the measurement strategy and creating the measurement programs, as well as recording the measurement results, managing the measurement and test equipment and managing complaints.
Kersten Maschinenbau GmbH manufactures ready-to-install machine parts and assemblies with the highest precision according to individual customer specifications. On a production area of over 9000m², we offer our more than 120 employees a secure and varied workplace, whether in the turning shop, milling shop, quality assurance, welding shop or metalworking shop. The correct reading and understanding of technical drawings is the basic prerequisite for a meaningful inspection of a component for dimensional accuracy. This requires a good ability to concentrate and a precise, independent way of working. In addition to having completed technical vocational training, practical experience in dealing with measuring technology, in particular with 3D coordinate measuring machines and their programming, is an advantage.
Our QA not only carries out final inspections, but also inspections during production, which is why the willingness to work 3 shifts is an important prerequisite for QA employees.
