Our technology team is looking for reinforcement! As a production technologist, you will develop production strategies and work plans for complex and high-precision machine components. You prepare quotation calculations and offers and clarify a wide range of technological details with our customers and suppliers.

Your area of responsibility:

  • Preparation of quotation calculations and offers for our customers
  • Developing manufacturing technologies for complex machine components in collaboration with tool technologists and programmers
  • Creating work plans and production orders in our ERP system PPS2000
  • Technological support for production
  • Final costing

Job profile: The job description as a production technologist (m/f/d)

Our production technology/work preparation department is responsible for the optimum preparation of the production processes. This begins with the first customer contact when preparing a quotation and extends to the creation of orders and the associated document management. This is followed by the development of the production technology and the creation of parts lists, work plans and all necessary production documents. Another important area is the monitoring and optimization of the technologies created, as well as error analysis and problem solving.

What qualities does a production technologist need to have?

Working in technology involves an extensive and varied range of tasks that require a responsible, careful and independent way of working. The development of new technologies requires cooperation with colleagues from production, programming and work preparation, which is why we attach great importance to teamwork and friendly cooperation.
In addition to an engineering degree in the field of mechanical engineering or a technician/master metalworker, professional experience and a willingness to familiarize yourself with new subject areas is an advantage.
